NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Wildwood will receive sealed bids for construction of the CCC WWTF Lift Station – SR 44 Force Main. All contractors licensed by the State of Florida are hereby invited to submit a bid on the above referenced project. Bids will be received until 3:00 PM, E.S.T., on June 1, 2023, at the following address: Wildwood City Hall, 100 N. Main Street, Wildwood, FL 34785. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: All work for the Project shall be constructed in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications prepared by the Engineer. Bids shall be submitted for furnishing, delivering, and installing all materials, equipment, and services, including labor for the Work, which generally involves the following activities:
Construction of new Master Lift Station adjacent to existing Continental Country Club WWTF and construction of approximately 9,400 LF of 8” PVC force main from the current proposed Lift Station northeast through the spray field located east of Continental Boulevard and South of County Road 44. Construction of approximately 9,600 linear feet of 8” PVC force main starting just east of Continental Boulevard and travelling west along the south side of County Road 44.
CONTRACT TIME: Construction time to achieve Substantial Completion is 180 consecutive calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed, with an additional 30 consecutive calendar days to achieve Final Completion. Total construction duration is 210 consecutive calendar days.
PROJECT MANUAL AND DRAWINGS: Copies of the Project Manual and Drawings are available for review at the City of Wildwood City Hall. Bid packages may be obtained by contacting the office of the Engineer via email at the contact information listed below:

All bids shall be prepared using the Project Manual and Drawings. Addenda will be sent via e-mail to all documented plan holders up to seventy-two (72) hours before the Bid closing time. The Owner/Engineer is not responsible for delivery of addenda to prospective bidders.
PRE-BID CONFERENCE: A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held for this project at 11:00 AM on May 18, 2023, at the City of Wildwood, 100 North Main Street, Wildwood, Florida 34785. A representative of the prime contractor should attend this meeting. Further information regarding the pre-bid conference is contained in Article 6 of Section 00100, Instructions to Bidders.
BID SECURITY: A 5% bid security is required for this project, to be submitted with bids.
PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BOND: The Owner will require that the Contractor furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Price. All Payment and Performance Bonds shall be secured from or countersigned by an agency or surety company recognized in good standing and authorized to do business in the State of Florida.
