June 9, 2026, Update

As pavement rejuvenation continues, the City of Wildwood’s contractor anticipates starting the streets shown in the map below by the middle of this week.

May 29, 2026, Update

The City of Wildwood’s contractor plans to continue pavement rejuvenation next week. Please see attached maps for streets scheduled for work starting on or around Monday, June 1, 2026.

May 7, 2026, Update

The City of Wildwood’s contractor will continue pavement rejuvenation in the VOSO area next week. Please see maps below for streets scheduled for work starting Monday, May 11, 2026.

April 30, 2026: Wildwood to Begin Asphalt Rejuvenation on Monday, May 4, 2026

The City of Wildwood’s contractor will begin pavement rejuvenation work on Monday, 5/4/26, in central Wildwood and on CR 203.

Work is expected to progress through central Wildwood during the week, moving to the Villages of Southern Oaks (VOSO) Units 124 – 127 on Day 5.

Residents on affected streets will be notified before work begins via a door flyer and will have access to their properties at all times during the treatments.

This work is part of the city’s long-range pavement management program, designed to maintain city-managed roadways at an average pavement condition index (PCI) network rating of 82 based on a standardized scale of 0 (worst) to 100 (best or new). The program helps provide users with a smoother travel experience, extend asphalt’s lifespan, and saves tax dollars significantly over time.
