Business Registration

According to Florida State Statute Chapter 205 and City Code Chapter 11, the City of Wildwood requires any person operating a business within the city limits of Wildwood to obtain a City Business Registration. This is in addition to any county or state license requirements.

Any person operating a business without a City Business Registration is subject to penalties under the Florida State Statutes and City Code.

If you are currently operating a business within the City of Wildwood and do not have a registration or are unsure if you need a registration, please contact the City Clerk’s Office at (352) 330-1331 or email jbarnes@wildwood-fl.gov.

To apply for a Business Registration, please complete the packet below under Supporting Documents, as well as the questionnaire for our IW program. Paper copies of the packet and questionnaire can also be obtained at City Hall at the Development Services window.
