NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Wildwood will receive sealed bids for construction of Trailwinds Monument Sign. All contractors licensed by the State of Florida are hereby invited to submit a bid on the above referenced project. Bids will be received until 12:00 PM, E.S.T., on August 2, 2021 at the following address: Wildwood City Hall, 100 N. Main Street, Wildwood, FL 34785. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: All work for the Project shall be constructed in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications prepared by the Engineer. Bids shall be submitted for furnishing, delivering and installing all materials, equipment and services, including labor for the Work, which generally involves the following activities: Construction of a monument sign, landscaping, irrigation, and site lighting for the City of Wildwood in the Trailwinds Development.

CONTRACT TIME: Construction time to achieve Substantial Completion is 60 consecutive calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed, with an additional 30 consecutive calendar days to achieve Final Completion. Total construction duration is 90 consecutive calendar days.

PROJECT MANUAL AND DRAWINGS: Copies of the Project Manual and Drawings are available for review at the City of Wildwood City Hall or the Office of the Engineer (Issuing Office). Bid packages may be obtained by downloading from the City Website https://www.wildwood-fl.gov or by contacting the office of the Engineer: Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. 101 E Silver Springs Boulevard, Suite 400 Ocala, Florida 34470 352/438-3000 TEL E-mail: mohammed.murad@kimley-horn.com All bids shall be prepared using the Project Manual and Drawings. Addenda will be sent via e-mail to all documented plan holders up to seventy-two (72) hours before the Bid closing time. The Owner/Engineer is not responsible for delivery of addenda to prospective bidders.

PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BOND: The Owner will require that the Contractor furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Price. All Payment and Performance Bonds shall be secured from or countersigned by an agency or surety company recognized in good standing and authorized to do business in the State of Florida.
