What hours is City Hall open?

Executive, Administration, and Utility Departments are open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Building and Development Services are open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

The above hours apply except on federal holidays and emergency weather situations. 

How do I contact the Chamber of Commerce?

How do I contact the Mayor and Commisisoners?

Go to the Elected Officials section of our website and click on the Mayor's and Commissioner's individual pages for their contact information.

Please note that none of our Elected Officials have an office at City Hall and should be contacted according to the information on their individual web pages.

How do I go about renting the Community Center?

Visit the Utilities section of our website for rates, rules, and forms necessary to rent the Community Center, or contact the Utility Department between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at 352-330-1330, ext. 130.

How do I report a street light that is out?

Write down the numbers that appear on the light pole, provide the closest address to the pole, whether the light is out, stays on all day, stays on all the time, or cycles or flickers, along with your name and phone number in case we need to re-verify a pole number or other information that you have provided. 

You can then complete the online reporting form (click here), call this information to Public Works (352-330-1343, ext. 201) or bring it to the Utility Department at City Hall and we will contact Progress Energy or Sumter Electric Cooperative to report the information for repair.  It takes up to two weeks for the repair to be done unless it is a major problem.  if it has not been repaired by then, please re-contact us and let us know.

I'm new to Florida and need information on obtaining a driver license and vehicle registration. Where can I find this information?

Is financial assistance available in Wildwood?

Yes, through the St. Vincent DePaul Church Outreach Ministry & Food Pantry located in the San Pedro Maldonado Mission at 210 Wonders Street  in Wildwood.  In addition to the food pantry, they also offer financial assistance.  Financial assistance interviews are on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Call (352) 689-0129 to arrange an interview for financial assistance.  (Food Bank/Assistance)

Is there a free clinic in Wildwood?

Yes.  The Lazarus Free Medical Clinic is located in the San Pedro Maldonado Mission at 210 Wonders Street  in Wildwood. Clinic hours are Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  The mission of the LFMC is to promote wellness and to provide caring, quality medical care, specialty referral services, preventive health education to disadvantaged migrant workers and the working poor families of Sumter/Lake/Marion Counties.
